If you’ve walked by Oak Street Plaza in Old Town Fort Collins during a beautiful Tuesday around 11:30…you may have noticed people sitting anywhere that has space, bathing-suit-clad children playing in water, and heard beautiful music filling the air.
If you’ve been lucky enough to encounter such a scene and you didn’t stop to check it out, I encourage you to do so next time.
Downtown Fort Collins Presents Noontime Notes Concert Series
Noontime Notes is an annual Downtown Fort Collins concert series, which is free to the public and takes place on Tuesdays at 11:30. (Right before nap time for some.) It lasts for about an hour and a half, so be sure to bring some snacks or pack a picnic.
Today I was lucky enough to catch folk musician Michael Kirkpatrick perform. He had a chill vibe and of course there were lots of people sitting on picnic blankets and grass enjoying his music. Lucky for the patio of Blue Agave, they get a front row seat to the show while they sit in shade.
