There is a new place in Northern Colorado where people ages 5 and up can rally together to have a good time. Battle Zone Arena is a nerf-gun enthusiast’s holy grail. The Zone claim’s to be the ultimate indoor soft dart battle field and I believe them…especially because they may be the only one around!
I learned about this place because my 7 year-old raved about it. He went there with his daddio and now wants to have his birthday party there this year.
That is when you know it’s real.
Lucky for my son, the arena also hosts birthdays. Apparently there are 3 party areas. Learn more about it here.
This place has a lot to offer so I here is the breakdown:
There are many games for a range of ages. The main games are Team Knock Out, where you try and get all the other team out. Teams can play Capture the Flag and a game called Captain America. This game has one player from each team holding a shield and if he or she gets hit anywhere other than the shield, the whole team looses.
There is also a game based on the Hunger Games movie (Cool, huh?) In the evenings the lights get turned off and black lights get turned on.
Play Zone Arena
They have also created the Play Zone Arena. It is a space is for groups that do not want to shoot Blasters at each other. There is a cardboard box maze, hula hoops, beach balls, construction corner to make big forts, target practice and other fun games.
This arena is open to day-care field trips!
The Goal of Battle Zone
Battle Zone is locally owed and operated. Mark Hansen and his family opened Battle Zone up in August with hopes to create a family-friendly space for kids of all ages to play.
It even has a play area for the little ones if they are not old enough to participate in the Nerf games.
