Has your family ever been to a good-old-fashioned corn roast? If not, here is your chance!
Each year the City of Loveland hosts a Corn Roast Festival with a parade, fun contests, and a LOT of corn. This year it seems like they’ve added something new: A corn hole tournament!
There is also going to be: a petting zoo, pony rides, corn eating contests, and a duck race. Along with these fun activities, live music will be playing on both days.
Friday, August 19
5 – 5:30 p.m. Event begins with an intro of Grand Marshals and sponsors
5:30 – 7:15 p.m. Corn Shucking Contest
5 – 10 p.m. Vendors, amusements, corn sales & beer gardens
8 – 10:30 p.m. Live music from Soul School
Saturday, August 20
6:30 – 10 a.m. Pancake breakfast
9 a.m. Vendors open for business
9:30 a.m. Parade!!!
12 – 2 p.m. Cornhole Tournament
11 – 6:30 p.m. Corn sales and beer garden open
2:30 p.m. Corn Eating Contest
4 p.m. Rotary Duck Race
4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Live music from Blues DoGs
**The pancake breakfast is held in the Loveland Re torter-Herald parking lot on the corner of 5th and Cleveland Avenue. The cost for the breakfast is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 12 and under. All proceeds go to Elks Veterans Programs.
