Oh boy! Get ready to see lots of people frolic the streets in cute, scary, whimsical costumes. Here is a list of events happening in and around Fort Collins:

Treatsylvania: Friday, October 23- Sunday, October 25

Cost: $5

Ages: 10 and under

More info: Goblins and ghouls trick-or-treat through a make-believe Halloween village and get candy from more than 40 storefronts. Wrap up your adventure with a hayride and a visit to the Not-so-Spooky Barn.

Location: The Farm at Lee Martinez Park, 600 N. Sherwood


Fort Collins Marketplace Trick or Treating: Saturday, October 24

Cost: Free

Age: 12 and under

Time: 12 pm – 2 pm

More info: Safe trick or treating, pumpkin decorating, and a pet contest. People must register for the pet costume contest in Pet City between 12 and 1:30. The contest begins at 1:30.

Location: 3601 S. College Ave


Front Range Village Treat Street: Saturday, October 24

Cost: Free

Ages: 12 and under

Time: 6 pm – 8 pm

More info: Come dressed in your costume! Kids will enjoy trick-or-treating, pumpkin decorating, fun games, and a photo booth. There is also a pet costume contest! Don’t forget to bring a bag or basket for your treats!

Location: Next to Mary’s Mountain Cookies  in Front Range Village off Harmony Rd.


Hogwarts Halloween: Saturday, October 24

Cost: $15 (Parents have to pay $5 to accompany kids)

Ages: 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult, all parents are invited to participate

Time: 6 pm – 9 pm

More info: Dress in your best robes to create potions and charms, play Quidditch, take a stroll through Diagon Alley, eat chocolate frogs, and drink butter beer.

Location: The Northside Aztlan Community Center, 112 E. Willow


Bow Wowvania: Saturday, October 24

Cost: $5


Time: Noon – 1 pm

More info: Dress your dog in his or her finest for a trick-or-treat event. Dogs will receive a doggie bag, and bones and biscuits while trick-or-treating

Location: The Farm, 600 N. Sherwood


Halloween on the Promenade: Sunday, October 25

Cost: Free


Time: 12 pm – 3 pm

More info: Pumpkin patch, games for prizes, snacks, petting zoo, horse-drawn hay rides, dancing, and the dog costume contest begins at 1 pm.

Halloween Enchanted Garden: Saturday, October 31

Cost: $5

Ages: 2-8 years old

More info: Wear your costumes! Make ooey gooey creatures, bowl with pumpkins, and watch magic come alive. Visit for more information.

Location: The Gardens on Spring Creek, 2145 Centre


Halloween Organ Extravaganza: Saturday, October 31

Cost: $12 for adults, $1 for youth; Free for CSU students

Ages: All ages

More info: The organ studio and CSU faculty Joel Bacon perform classic (and not-so-classic) works, including the famous Toccata and Fugue in D minor of Bach. Spooky sounds are sure to put you in the Halloween spirit. Come in costume, if you like, and be prepared to have ghoulish, fun at this popular family-friendly event.
