Okay, I confess. The fun we had at the Larimer County Farmers’ Market this weekend was not exactly cheap. In fact, we spent a considerable amount of money on tomato starters, salsa, honey sticks, mustard, and peach cider. However, it could have been cheap. It even could have been free, had we asserted a bit more will power. Yet fun was definitely had by all, and every family member walked away with an item of their choice. The teenager rediscovered her long lost love for spicy salsa and the toddler enjoyed almost every sample offered. It truly was a pleasant and simple family outing, and one that we look forward to repeating often in the months to come.
Pick a market, browse, and enjoy some free samples! Then, support your local vendors by making a purchase or two. Or three, or four…
